WELCOME TO BIG SKY
A TOWN BUILT ON HISTORY
A beautiful place such as Big Sky, Montana, didn't come from the easiest of beginnings. However, I'm sure the collective census will agree that everyone wants to make sure their beloved town stays beautiful. Today, that still rings true and would make good ol' Clovis Deveraux proud to see what it has become since the town created where he served as the first mayor of Big Sky! And no matter where you look, you can see the beauty in the town. From the view of the mountains to every store on Main Street, there's always something to see. If you ask me, someone who was born and raised in Big Sky, I'm always seeing something different even after all these years!
Big Sky was founded in 1893 and has seen its fair share of ups and downs, but mostly the city has done nothing but grow into what it is today: 131 years later. Visitors to Big Sky can enjoy the perks of living in a friendly place with access to a top-notch ski resort for their recreational enjoyment. There are plenty of places to shop and eat as well as an amazing theater! There's truly something to always peak your interest while you visit! Locals have the added bonus of enjoying exceptional schools for their children in Kindergarten through 12th grade! Once they're done with their first 12 years of school, they can move on to the award-winning Big Sky University to further their education while staying close to home!
No matter what it is though, Big Sky has it all that one would need or even possibly want! I know that I don't plan on leaving this beautiful place. As I was born and raised here, I aspire to also make sure my children and their children are also born and raised right here in this beautiful piece of Montana!

I'm pretty easygoing, and my family always has my back. I am loyal until the end. I mess around with them and let them have a good time. I also honor my parents and make sure I do what I am asked from them. I also have a close bond with my sister and brother Selena and Sampson. I'd never forgive myself if something happened to either of them. I always have fun around my sister. She is the one to whom I have confided some of my darkest feelings or secrets too, where, as others, I would've not even done such a thing. She is the one that I have spent the most time with.
I can be very stubborn at times. Once I make up my mind, it will always be stuck to that. And it can't be easily shaken or changed. I am also loving towards my family; if you hurt them, I will never forgive you. And you will lose my loyalty for just about forever. I also am usually a good kid around school. But I have been known to break the rules once or twice in my life. While who is to say it is fun breaking rules from time to time, as long as you don't get caught? I don't know what I'll do when I graduate school; figure going to the university. But I figure out a profession once I get there.
My name is Silas Moretti. My parents are Python and Elaine Moretti. I was born and raised in the Big Sky Mountains. And I'm used to breathing fresh mountain air. I am the middle child, with Sampson being the older brother and Selena as the younger sister. I was born during a transition period, when the fall leaves started coming down. And the warmth was beginning to go, turning into the cold months ahead. For my parents, it was love at first sight, and they married. I have uncles Cris, Woody, and Aunt Gwen. I visit them often, because our family is quite close. I enjoyed spending time at the clubhouse and hang out there. We'd spend hours there. I never met my grandparents, as they died a long time ago.
My parents told me that my grandparents died in a car crash, when Gwen and Cris were still in school. My parents were deeply saddened about the sudden tragic moment in their lives. I remember learning how to ride a minibike when I was three years old. I loved it so much. I graduated up to a dirt bike. It was twice as much fun learning how to drive on it. I felt the wind in my hair. While I have the stuff for it, I'm somewhere in between my Selena and Sampus, as being competitive in motorcross.
I remember my first few days in high school, because I never really felt like I fit in. However, over time, I found my batch of friends there. And I kept an eye on my sister to make sure no one bullied her. Not that she needed it that much; she's capable she can handle herself. My favorite subjects included social studies, geography, art, and music. There are others, but I always despised math.
I adjusted to school pretty fast. I took care of my classes and homework without my parents worried about me. I also got a lot of As and Bs in my classes. Without worrying about the grades all that much, I had time to do other things like sports and chase some girls around. I dated one girl, but we broke up last year, and I haven’t found another one since. I suppose we were so different that our personalities didn’t match. While we remained friends, we were not dating anymore and went our separate ways. I’m still unsure what I want to do when I graduate from school. Probably go to the university, prospect at the clubhouse, and work it out from there. As they say, the world is my oyster.

The night was young as Damien felt a chill in the air. He stepped outside feeling winter's grasp still on them but barely. It would not be long before Spring came around and welcomed the new season without question. He was growing weary of the cold winter months, while his werewolf form didn't seem to mind it. He was protected with warm fur that could survive the elements of the cold with no problem. The last bit of snow had melted, while a little bit of frost still clung to the windows. The cold nights were numbered as the warmth would eventually take over.
As Damien stepped out, he had his phone in hand. He had a book in another looking at old astrology charts. The paper was worn with age with a handful of tears from on the sides, as they had scrawled pieces of notes written on it. Because of this, Damien was able to see and recognize some of the planets in the sky as he could point out where he was. Then the moon phases on another page as he flipped through the papers that he had. Damien knew in a couple of weeks, his werewolf form would come out. He still had time. It didn't bother him that much now.
"I see now, so that's where we are. The moon is, half full and will not change for a while." Damien said as that was calming enough. His own home in Quincy had been a small apartment that he had rented out for a couple of months ahead of time. To have his roof over his head was rewarding, and he had enjoyed it. As he began to walk down the streets, there was a nearby park that he could frequent. He smelled the damp air like a storm might come later that night. Along with the few scents of people who had been out that night walking their dogs or heading home. Damien had left Freki back in the apartment for a short amount of time. As he would be back in. And he'd never forget his companion.
