WELCOME TO BIG SKY
A TOWN BUILT ON HISTORY
A beautiful place such as Big Sky, Montana, didn't come from the easiest of beginnings. However, I'm sure the collective census will agree that everyone wants to make sure their beloved town stays beautiful. Today, that still rings true and would make good ol' Clovis Deveraux proud to see what it has become since the town created where he served as the first mayor of Big Sky! And no matter where you look, you can see the beauty in the town. From the view of the mountains to every store on Main Street, there's always something to see. If you ask me, someone who was born and raised in Big Sky, I'm always seeing something different even after all these years!
Big Sky was founded in 1893 and has seen its fair share of ups and downs, but mostly the city has done nothing but grow into what it is today: 131 years later. Visitors to Big Sky can enjoy the perks of living in a friendly place with access to a top-notch ski resort for their recreational enjoyment. There are plenty of places to shop and eat as well as an amazing theater! There's truly something to always peak your interest while you visit! Locals have the added bonus of enjoying exceptional schools for their children in Kindergarten through 12th grade! Once they're done with their first 12 years of school, they can move on to the award-winning Big Sky University to further their education while staying close to home!
No matter what it is though, Big Sky has it all that one would need or even possibly want! I know that I don't plan on leaving this beautiful place. As I was born and raised here, I aspire to also make sure my children and their children are also born and raised right here in this beautiful piece of Montana!
Well, I took a walk around the world to ease my troubled mind I left my body lying somewhere in the sands of time But I watched the world float to the dark side of the moon
I feel there's nothing I can do, yeah I watched the world float to the dark side of the moon After all, I knew it had to be something to do with you
I really don't mind what happens now and then As long as you'll be my friend at the end If I go crazy then will you still call me Superman? If I'm alive and well, will you be there a holding my hand? I'll keep you by my side with my superhuman might Kryptonite
You called me strong, you called me weak But still, your secrets I will keep You took for granted all the times I never let you down You stumbled in and bumped your head If not for me, then you'd be dead I picked you up and put you back on solid ground
If I go crazy then will you still call me Superman? If I'm alive and well, will you be there a holding my hand? I'll keep you by my side with my superhuman might Kryptonite

I'm very outgoing and love to have time with my friends and family. I enjoy the fresh mountain air. I enjoy doing athletic sports like baseball, football, and hockey. I'm loyal to my family. I am also kind. I am easy going and enjoy spending time with my friends after school. I also like keeping busy and not feeling bored.
On the negative side, I am clever, stubborn, and mischievous. I will not take no for an answer, when I think of something. And when I come to a plan, I am usually able to think of complicated tasks at hand. I am also mischievous. I will sometimes find trouble or cause it. I have a temper. When someone gets me angry; I really get angry. As it doesn't take a lot to push my buttons when someone is hurting my family or messing with them. I can also be impatient with things. When it takes time to wait for something good. I tend to get agitated, anxious or even pacing around waiting for it to finish.

History
Rosewood is a surname of English origin, derived from the Old English words 'rhos' meaning 'rose' and 'wudu' meaning 'wood'. It was typically given to individuals who lived near a rose wood or a rose tree. This name is often associated with beauty and strength, reflecting the characteristics of the rose tree itself.
In 1903, my great, great, grandparents, Preston Rosewood and his wife Estelle, journeyed from England to the United States joining her brother and his family who had moved to Big Sky a couple of years before. Growing up his family had operated an Old Fashioned soda shop back in England. So, he built his own soda shop here in Big Sky.
My name is Mordecai Jason Rosewood. My father is Michael Rosewood, and my mother is Zoe Rosewood. I was born on a hot summer day, on August 15th. It was so hot that day that it was well into the 90s Fahrenheit, and there was a heatwave. Trying to find ways to stay cool was hard, going swimming in the lake was one idea. Even staying under the shade of a tree was not near enough to stay cool.
By now, my parents had plenty of experience raising children. My family already had five girls and one boy, my older brother Guthrie. My sisters are Victoria, Erica, Fiona, Daphne, and Zariah. My parents also had helped raise Hudson and Zariya, so they were like extra older siblings to me. So, the house was very busy and loud. With so many girls in the family, there was lots of attention on them. Guthrie being the only guy, I'm sure it was a big surprise. I was curious about the world when I was a baby. I was always getting into everything and making messes with the toys. When I was two years old, the final sibling arrived in the Rosewood family, and that is Gresham. He is my little brother. And I love them all. I wouldn’t ask for it any other way.
When I was four my dad gave me my minibike, and he gave me lessons riding it. My father is the proprietor of a soda fountain in Big Sky, Montana, and I spent a lot of time there. My grandfather retired and handed the shop down to my father. He still visits the shop on occasions, when he feels up to it, and works there. I frequented it a lot with my family. It was like another playground for us to play in. I liked hanging out there with the rest of the family. Running it brings pride and joy to our family.
I learned how to ride a dirt bike when I was six. I was having a lot of fun racing around on the Deveraux track. I would challenge my siblings and my friends. I won many times, as I was very competitive. I have the trophies on my shelf in my room.
In junior high, I tried out for football and baseball, and I made the teams. I would play catch in the backyard with some of my siblings after school. It was enjoyable. I became obsessed with the sports. It was fun hearing the crowds' cheering. I thought I did pretty good I was able to hit some balls, and they went flying into the outfield and also got a home run or two.
When I turned fourteen, I was able to start working after school, at my dad's soda shop. It was an interesting way to start work. I learned the basics of working, while I was at the shop, and received my first paychecks.
I'm in my freshman year of high school, when I turn sixteen, I will be able to get my first Harley. I can't wait to ride the open roads with my family. When I turn 18, I hope to prospect for the Wild Wolves MC club. I know I have a bright future ahead of me.

The night was young as Damien felt a chill in the air. He stepped outside feeling winter's grasp still on them but barely. It would not be long before Spring came around and welcomed the new season without question. He was growing weary of the cold winter months, while his werewolf form didn't seem to mind it. He was protected with warm fur that could survive the elements of the cold with no problem. The last bit of snow had melted, while a little bit of frost still clung to the windows. The cold nights were numbered as the warmth would eventually take over.
As Damien stepped out, he had his phone in hand. He had a book in another looking at old astrology charts. The paper was worn with age with a handful of tears from on the sides, as they had scrawled pieces of notes written on it. Because of this, Damien was able to see and recognize some of the planets in the sky as he could point out where he was. Then the moon phases on another page as he flipped through the papers that he had. Damien knew in a couple of weeks, his werewolf form would come out. He still had time. It didn't bother him that much now.
"I see now, so that's where we are. The moon is, half full and will not change for a while." Damien said as that was calming enough. His own home in Quincy had been a small apartment that he had rented out for a couple of months ahead of time. To have his roof over his head was rewarding, and he had enjoyed it. As he began to walk down the streets, there was a nearby park that he could frequent. He smelled the damp air like a storm might come later that night. Along with the few scents of people who had been out that night walking their dogs or heading home. Damien had left Freki back in the apartment for a short amount of time. As he would be back in. And he'd never forget his companion.
