WELCOME TO BIG SKY
A TOWN BUILT ON HISTORY
A beautiful place such as Big Sky, Montana, didn't come from the easiest of beginnings. However, I'm sure the collective census will agree that everyone wants to make sure their beloved town stays beautiful. Today, that still rings true and would make good ol' Clovis Deveraux proud to see what it has become since the town created where he served as the first mayor of Big Sky! And no matter where you look, you can see the beauty in the town. From the view of the mountains to every store on Main Street, there's always something to see. If you ask me, someone who was born and raised in Big Sky, I'm always seeing something different even after all these years!
Big Sky was founded in 1893 and has seen its fair share of ups and downs, but mostly the city has done nothing but grow into what it is today: 131 years later. Visitors to Big Sky can enjoy the perks of living in a friendly place with access to a top-notch ski resort for their recreational enjoyment. There are plenty of places to shop and eat as well as an amazing theater! There's truly something to always peak your interest while you visit! Locals have the added bonus of enjoying exceptional schools for their children in Kindergarten through 12th grade! Once they're done with their first 12 years of school, they can move on to the award-winning Big Sky University to further their education while staying close to home!
No matter what it is though, Big Sky has it all that one would need or even possibly want! I know that I don't plan on leaving this beautiful place. As I was born and raised here, I aspire to also make sure my children and their children are also born and raised right here in this beautiful piece of Montana!

I'm not one to pick fights, but I don't back down either. I'm usually pretty easy going. I like to joke around but know when to be serious. Family and the club is everything to me, and I can get emotional if something happens to someone. I'm loyal to my club and my family. Nobody better mess with my younger brothers and baby sister either. I can be quite vindictive if the need arises. I am a one woman man. Same as my father who I look like and take after. Don't know that I'm a romantic, but I do know how to treat a woman, and my girl doesn't want for anything. Well at least I hope that she doesn't! I'm sure she'd let me know if I wasn't keeping up.

I was born into the life of the Wild Wolves MC. My dad already being a Wild Wolf. I grew up with the club, my best friends the sons of the older Wild Wolves. We became a family. A lot of my childhood was spent at the clubhouse. It was cheaper than finding a babysitter and there were always sweetbutts around to watch us kids.
I was three when my little brother Tyler was born. Mom said I took right away to protecting him from everything even at that young of age. After him came Hunter, and then Liam. Five years ago our baby sister Harlow was born. If you thought I was protective of my brothers, that was nothing compared to protecting Harlow. I was the eldest and tried protecting my younger siblings from everything.
When I was four dad gave me a mini bike. Taking right to it I would eat up that track. I could see the proudness in dad's eyes, but I didn't let it go to my head. I was seven when Tyler got his mini bike. By then I'd graduated to my dirt bike and was riding in motocross. Which I totally loved. I took time though helping dad with Tyler, and then Hunter and lastly Liam when they were of age helping him give them lessons. Though I'm sure they listened to dad more than me.
Tyler I didn't worry about as much as Hunter who had been more than clumsy since he was born. Even as a baby crawling somehow he'd trip over his knees. His first time on a mini bike wasn't so bad. It was when he stopped and tried to get off. A laugh had escaped me seeing his shoestring had gotten caught on the foot pedal. I quickly covered it up with a cough. I knew better than to laugh at any of my younger siblings. Even if I couldn't help it.
Dad went right out and bought him boots so that he had no shoestrings which was great for him then. The next year when he was supposed to graduate to a dirt bike he ended up breaking his arm after turning his dirt bike over. I'd lost count on how many times. A few weeks later he wanted to ride, and was begging me and pouting. As I pondered it over I decided he was a pro on his mini bike so I bargained with him. Told him it wasn't locked up like his dirt bike was.
Didn't tell him I had the key to get it out. I'd already gotten mine and Tyler's dirt bikes out of the locked garage. Yeah dad yelled at me some, but oh well he was fine. I didn't notice Hunter watching me lock up the garage after Tyler and I put our dirt bikes up. I just gave him a wink thinking we'd gotten off easy that day. It wasn't till later that I realized he'd seen me with the key, and I just let out a laugh about it. Forgetting about it afterwards.
Hunter finally got to start motocross a year later than he should have, and at the same time as my baby brother Liam so that didn't go over too well with Hunter. He was a Garard though after all, and he quickly caught up winning heat after heat. I was proud of him as I was of my other brothers. I was doing great myself in collecting trophies right and left. Some how my cousin and best friend Lucas, and I usually ended up tying. Guess neither of us wanted to beat one another coming out ahead.
Junior high rolled around and I went out for all the sports usually in the starting lineup in all of them. I was good, but I didn't let it go to my head. I just liked to play and have fun. Football was fun when I'd get to tackle someone. Dad was always up to throwing around the football in the evenings too which had helped me in learning to catch a football growing up. Basketball I hated the coach and usually ignored him moving on through junior high.
One of my other best friends growing up was Fiona Rosewood. We had lots of fun together. Riley James was usually with Lucas too so it was the four of us doing things together. Other's joining in too. Going to Rosewood Soda Fountain was always fun. Her dad was a Wild Wolf with my dad, and he loved picking on all of us. He's definitely one of those cool dads. My dad is cool as well as my uncles so don't have to worry about any of that.
My first junior high dance I asked Fiona to go as friends. We had lots of fun. The next dance though I heard a few boys talking about asking her out. Furrowing my brows as I listened I realized I didn't like that idea at all. That was in the locker room after practice. I knew she was going over to the soda fountain after her own practice so I marched right on over there. When I walked in I scanned the place for her finding her sitting with her dad and older sisters who were taking a break. No caring her father was sitting there I walked right over. Her dad raised an eyebrow at me, and that's when I realized I still had my uniform on and no shoes.
With a deep breath I looked at Fiona. "The guys were talking about you in the locker room tonight and I didn't like it! Still really haven't figured out why though." Her dad let out a laugh, but I ignored him going on. Her older sisters were giggling as well as they watched on. "A couple of them were making bets on asking you out and seeing who you would go out with. There not good enough for you either! Not that I am either, but I'd rather you be with me so I can protect you and us have fun together!" I declared. Her father cleared his throat. "I think he's a keeper Fi even if he hasn't figured it out yet." He was smirking as he whispered to her loud enough for me to hear.
I frowned a little when she giggled at what her father mock whispered to her. I was definitely unprepared for her getting up and waking the couple of steps to me. My eyebrows shot up in shock when she grabbed me by my uniform pulling me in and kissing me. My arms had flown up as if in defense. It took me a few moments as it was registering what she was doing, before I kissed her back. I literally saw stars when my lips moved against hers. I didn't even realize when my arms wrapped around her pulling her in even closer if possible. I'd felt like I had died and gone to heaven!
Not sure how long that kiss went on, but the hoots and hollers I was hearing was penetrating through the daze of happiness I was in. Needing to breath I reluctantly pulled away, and smiled at her. I had just gotten my first kiss at thirteen, and I thought it was amazing! I really wanted to do it again, but my senses were coming back realizing her father was just a few feet away, and that there were other people in the soda fountain. It all came crashing down then what I was feeling for Fiona. I looked over at her dad. "Is it alright if I date your daughter sir?" I asked him seriously.
Her father let out a laugh. I turned bright red hearing him then, and swallowed hard nodding. "As long as you keep your clothes all on at all times around her! Which includes now..." He smirked at me. It was then that I realized again I was still in my basketball uniform. My feet were freezing from walking through the snow over here, and I hadn't even realized it. "Yes sir!" I chocked out looking around seeing Lucas standing there smirking. At least he had my stuff and I was able to get dressed.
Her dad still likes to tease me about that day by the way. After that Fiona and I were inseparable though. We went to every dance together, and other parties. I took her out to movies and to eat. Plus we had a regular date time after my practices for me to go down if she was working at the Fountain and we'd share a milkshake together. I always made sure not to take more than my share of it. Even if it was the biggest one they had it didn't last long. Oh and my parents knew already when I got home. Dad started right in on me about getting my first kiss. One of her older sisters must have been filming us.
Dad took me to get my first Harley when I turned sixteen. My uncles and older cousins tagging along. Even Fiona and her dad came with us. That was fun that day getting to ride it out of the dealership. One of my most prized possessions. Only thing I value more than anything else is Fiona. I definitely don't take her for granted. I don't know what I would do without her! We have our group fun with our friends. Double dating with Lucas and Riley, and our own fun time. Though the one rule her dad gave me I still abide by!
It was my junior year when I noticed my little brother Hunter who was a seventh grader acting odd. Not himself at all. He'd come straight home and right to his room. One night I barged into his room, and caught him crying himself to sleep. I was more than concerned, and tried to get him to open up to me. Of course he didn't though. I gathered up my cousins and friends as well as my little brother Tyler telling them what was going on. That we had to figure it out.
When I did get the chance I jumped on it, and when I burst into the coaches offices I saw red at what he was doing to my little brother who was crying, and you could tell he was scared. I reacted running and taking the coach out hitting him time after time. He was out cold before I stopped. Somebody must have called 911 because by then Sheriff Morgan was there and so was a couple of ambulances. I rushed out grabbing Tyler pulling him into an ambulance that Hunter was put into.
I called dad on the way knowing he was out on a date with mom. When dad got there all hell broke loose. He let out a string of curse words and then was in the room where they had the coach going to town on him. Sheriff Morgan I noticed just sighed and crossed his arms watching. Even as my dad practically castrated the coach. It took my dad's brothers Jacob and Steel as well as my mom's brother Thorn to pull dad off of the coach. Right away they were bringing in the crash cart as the coach was coding. He survived though, and is now in prison for what he did to my little brother as well as quite a few more that came forward after that.
I started prospecting when I turned eighteen with my dad as my sponsor. Which unfortunately wasn't till the end of my senior year. I hated being one of the youngest in my class. It was prom night that I lost my virginity to Fiona and vice versa. Even though it was both of our first times we both enjoyed it. Probably more than we should have. First time I broke her dad's rule. Which I'm pretty sure he knows we broke by now. At least he likes me I guess. Some of my friends are getting warnings from their girls dad's all the time. Guess I'm just lucky.
I also started working for my dad and uncle in the family landscaping business around when I was fourteen part time. Now I'm pretty much full time in it, and have worked up quite a bit of muscle from the hard work. Which I do love by the way, and I don't think many can say that they love their jobs. I'm twenty now. Yeah I still live at home, but once in a while I crash at the clubhouse. Most of the time with Fiona there. I am taking a few classes at the Uni here, but haven't declared a major. Though I did get into a few landscaping classes so was thinking about majoring in it since I already loved doing that.

Rayne sat away from the others somewhat. As it seemed like everyone was paired off but for him. Or they were with their friends. They’d been back from Sturgis for only a few days, and his dad, Rowdy, and Cain were throwing a bash at their place to try and take off some of the stress from what the trip had been. The Oklahoma boys and his dad, and Cain were taking turns getting up on the stage and singing. Oh and even Clyde had gotten up and sang. Their kids called out songs for them to sing, and they’d pick one from one of them. Of course his dad hadn’t asked him. It was mainly his baby brothers and once in a while Rafe or Ryder would yell out one.
Sturgis hadn’t really been any fun and he and his brothers had never gotten that tattoo that he designed. With all hell breaking loose everyone was on high alert the next week so his father and brothers had forgotten about it. He’d slept off and on that next week after what had happened to him. At least the stitches had gotten taken out finally so he didn’t have that discomfort. Though it still aches some, and Stephanie had said it probably would for some time as hard as he had been hit. It itched and bothered him, but he refrained from messing with it not wanting to get it infected as it was healing. The bruises were still there, but not as bad as they had been.
His dad’s attention today was either on Rosanna or his baby brothers most of the time. Feeling tired and left out he got up to head inside to his room. Rafe and Ryder’s attention was on their new found girlfriends. His gaze fell on Athena then who was talking to some of the other kids in the Jr Club, and there were a couple of guys that she was laughing and having fun with. He felt a pang in his heart, and weaved in and out of people to head inside. A stray tear ran down his cheek as he got inside, and he quickly brushed it away. He hissed in his breath at the pain when he had forgotten a moment about his wound. With a deep breath he headed up the stairs when he came up on them.
It wasn’t that much of a walk down the hallway to his room. The pounding of the music and the roar of the crowd outside was inside the house too, and it was giving him a headache. So all he wanted to do was lay down and take a nap. Opening his door a sound caught his attention. Looking up he gasped as there were a couple of guys in the room with their girls having fun on his bed as well as Simon’s bed. He gaped in shock for a few moments, before turning bright red not knowing what to do. He jumped when one of them yelled at him to get out. Quickly he ducked out his head pounding even more and realized then that he wasn’t alone upstairs as he saw others in the hallways too.
Looking up and down the hallways he noticed people going in and out of the theater rooms too. Walking down to his dad’s room he thought he might find some relief in there, but his dad must have locked his door. He tried Rowdy’s and Cain’s finding both of them locked. There was nowhere to go he realized, and he headed back down stairs trying not to cry. That wouldn’t look good in front of the sons around. There was a lot that he had no idea who they were. Including the ones that had been in his room having fun. Feeling lost and really left out he turned at the stairs and a drunk son knocked into him knocking him down. He saw stars when his head hit the corner of a baseboard. Laughter was heard, and then they ignored him. Sitting up he held his hand to his head, and when he pulled away there was blood on his head.
He cringed as his head was killing him even more now. Pulling himself up he hears something crash and shatter somewhere. His vision was a little blurry now, and he felt the blood trickling down his forehead. There had to be somewhere that he could go, and he thought of the garage. Making his way down that way he put the code into the door knowing it had been locked up for the party. His dad was taking any chances with his panhead with someone messing with it. Once the door shut behind him the sound was suddenly gone as the garage seemed to be soundproof. His ears were ringing though from the never ending sound from before.
With an unsteady breath he made his way over to his bike not even fighting the tears now. Sitting on it he laid his head down against the cool gas tank and the sobs came unable to stop them. He wasn’t feeling good at all, and when he lifted his head a while later there was a lot of blood on his bike. Had to be from where he had hit his head. A ride might help him feel better was his thoughts, and he got off pushing his bike out a side door, and around some bikes getting on his bike after making sure the garage was locked back up. If it wasn’t his dad, Rowdy, and Cain not to mention the others with bikes in there would kill him.
Starting his bike he rode down the driveway with the guards not even looking twice at him as there were sons and jr club members coming right and left. Tears were still streaming down his cheeks and there was still blood trickling down so his vision was still a bit blurred. Right now he didn’t care, he just had to get away, and hopefully clear his head. His dad and brothers as well as the others would probably never even notice he was gone. They were having too much fun. A while later he realized that the ride wasn’t helping, and he stopped not even knowing where he was. He hadn’t been this way yet. Only the other direction into town. The throbbing in his head was even worse, and all he wanted was his dad right now.
Turning his bike around he tried to wipe the tears away and the blood, but it wasn’t helping much. With a deep breath he headed back. With his vision obscured, he didn’t see the cloud of dust coming down a dirt road not far away. When he turned on the next road thinking he was going in the right direction the car came out of nowhere. Unable to stop he ran right into it, and he was suddenly flying through the air. The impact of hitting the road knocked him out.
