WELCOME TO BIG SKY
A TOWN BUILT ON HISTORY
A beautiful place such as Big Sky, Montana, didn't come from the easiest of beginnings. However, I'm sure the collective census will agree that everyone wants to make sure their beloved town stays beautiful. Today, that still rings true and would make good ol' Clovis Deveraux proud to see what it has become since the town created where he served as the first mayor of Big Sky! And no matter where you look, you can see the beauty in the town. From the view of the mountains to every store on Main Street, there's always something to see. If you ask me, someone who was born and raised in Big Sky, I'm always seeing something different even after all these years!
Big Sky was founded in 1893 and has seen its fair share of ups and downs, but mostly the city has done nothing but grow into what it is today: 131 years later. Visitors to Big Sky can enjoy the perks of living in a friendly place with access to a top-notch ski resort for their recreational enjoyment. There are plenty of places to shop and eat as well as an amazing theater! There's truly something to always peak your interest while you visit! Locals have the added bonus of enjoying exceptional schools for their children in Kindergarten through 12th grade! Once they're done with their first 12 years of school, they can move on to the award-winning Big Sky University to further their education while staying close to home!
No matter what it is though, Big Sky has it all that one would need or even possibly want! I know that I don't plan on leaving this beautiful place. As I was born and raised here, I aspire to also make sure my children and their children are also born and raised right here in this beautiful piece of Montana!

Unlike my twin, I am not afraid to put myself out there. He tends to keep to himself or our family more than anything. I make friends faster than he does, but I always include him in everything too because if you can't get along with my twin, then I don't even want to give you the time of day. However, like my twin, I'm carefree and have more of a free and easy spirit. Spending time with my family has always been one of my favorite things. As for my temper, when I do get mad, I don't have a problem letting everyone know why and who pissed me off. I'm not afraid to speak up when it comes down to it. I love my job and love being outdoors and everything that comes with it. I love getting fresh air and I hate being cooped up.
I was born third in my family, younger only to my older brother TJ and my twin brother Ethan. Yes, I am a twin and just like every other twin that I know, my twin is everything to me. I don't think I would be able to live if I ever lost him. He is my best friend and my greatest weakness, but he's also my greatest strength. After Ethan and I, we have five younger siblings, one brother and four sisters: Lyra, Serina, Rebekah, Jace, and Blakely. That brings the total of Youngblood children to eight.
I learned how to take care of myself pretty quickly with my brothers TJ and Ethan. They drove me nuts when they would jump in to protect me because I was more than capable of doing it myself. I know they did it because they loved me though. However, on the off chance that they weren't around, which really was rare since Ethan and I were always together, I made quick work of anyone that would try to mess with me. To my relief, they learned quick and I didn't normally have an issue after that.
My favorite time that I can remember was getting mini bikes and learning how to ride them. My dad was in the Wild Wolves MC, so I always loved motorcycles. I remember fighting for my chance to ride with him over my siblings, but my dad was always fair. He kept track of who got to ride and who didn't last. He kept us in order with it and once the mini bikes came into play, it wasn't as much with arguing who gets to get a ride next because one by one, or two in the case of Ethan and I, we got our mini bikes. From sun up to sun down it seemed we would be on them.
Soon we graduated to dirt bikes and that opened up another world for me, and I'm sure Ethan and the rest of our siblings when it came time for them to get theirs. Motocross was the focus of my attention when I was out. I absolutely loved competing and especially when we were able to be on the same team. My favorite time competing in Motocross was the times Ethan and I got to team up. We would tear up our competition with ease, winning just about every time!
When sports in school became available, I tried out for everything I could: volleyball, basketball, tennis, softball, and even golf. But my favorite was softball. I made Varsity my freshman year of high school. I was actually the only freshman on Varsity that year. I settled into my position at shortstop, making a name for myself throughout high school. However, no matter what, I know I had Ethan cheering me on and I would go to all of his games to cheer him on too. My entire family was always there.
To this day, Ethan and I are still close and best friends. I don't think I'd ever be able to live without him and I'd do everything to keep him safe and happy. Sure, he can get on my nerves, what brother can't? But it's really because he's the one who is always trying to chase guys off and trying to protect me before I can even react to protect myself. I know he does it though because he loves me and truthfully, I have chased a few girls off from him. I especially block the girls that try to friend me just to get closer to Ethan. I'm sure he'd be able to see right through them, but why should I give him the chance when he does the same to me?
I have noticed a change in Ethan though, our senior year. I feel like he's hiding something from me and it's been driving me nuts since then. No matter what, I can't seem to get him to tell me what's going on. So I've taken it upon myself to make sure that I'm always around as much as possible, even going as far as getting a full time job as a High Mountain Ranger after graduating because that's what Ethan was doing. I easily fell in love with being a High Mountain Ranger, so it wasn't as if I was unhappy at any point in the decision to not continue my education, at least not yet.
Two months ago, though, my life completely twisted and turned upside down. On a ride with my family on a Saturday afternoon, just having fun like we did every week, tragedy struck. I was riding right next to Ethan, just as I always did, when the worst sound I have ever heard came from behind us. I turned to look just as a car was flying off the bridge, but it wasn't just a car, I saw my mom right in front of the car and her bike had went flying as well. A drunk driver came up behind us fast, taking her out and clipping Jace and Rebekah's bikes sending them go down.
I was frozen for I don't know how long until sound rushed back into my ears and I heard screaming. Blinking, I looked back at where Jace and Rebekah ended up, both of them screaming in pain. I got off my bike and ran, dropping down next to Jace while Lyra was calling for help. I noticed Ethan went down where TJ and our dad went to try to help our mom, but I was silently freaking out, not knowing what to do.
It felt like eternity, but it really was fairly quickly, that help arrived and took Rebekah and Jace to the hospital. The rest of us went as well, even though I wanted to stay and help my dad, TJ, and Ethan. The Wild Wolves MC came and helped though. my dad, TJ, and Ethan were members, so they jumped right into action. I didn't want to leave my younger siblings on their own after what happened, especially Rebekah and Jace.
When my dad finally got to the hospital, they had to sedate him because of how much he was careening off the deep end himself. I'm sure no one blamed him either. I know I didn't. I was there for my siblings, trying to stay strong even though I wanted to fall apart. I didn't though because I knew that wouldn't help anyone at all. I was there when Jace and Rebekah would wake up, staying in the room with them. It was me that told them that mom was gone. I held both of them, having to say the words twice becasue when one woke up, the other was still out for awhile that week.
After Rebekah and Jace were released from the hospital, I was out looking for our mom every chance I got. Ethan was with me most of the time, but even when he wasn't able to be out there, I would still go. I didn't care what it took. When I wasn't out looking, I was watching my dad completely lose himself more and more. I stepped up and made sure my younger siblings were taken care of. I had help from the Old Ladies in the club. They would come over every day to make sure we were eating well and if there was anything else that we needed help with. Even with all their help, I still can't have what I really want: for our mother to come back and for my father to be able to find himself and be the man that he has been my entire life.

Logan got out of the shower and wrapped the towel around his waist after he dried his hair. He wiped the foggy mirror with his hand and quickly ran a brush through his short hair. He wasn't too worried about styling it, since he was just going to mess it up anyway after he pulled a shirt over his head.
Instead, he walked out of the bathroom and over to the little dresser where he put what little clothes he could stuff in his saddle bags, an extra pair of pants and a couple of shirts plus some socks. He pulled the towel off of him and dropped it on the floor, not even caring if Angel, who was still asleep in his bed, woke up and saw him in the buff.
